David Lee Thompson

David Thompson passed away peacefully in his mother’s home Friday July 18, 2014 after a short illness in Huntsville Hospital. He was surrounded by his loving family, Jerry Ann Thompson, his mother; Max and Glenda Thompson his father and step mother; Tracey Thompson Pruett and her husband Pat Pruett, his 3 children, Saylor 16, Hudson 13 and David Cole 7. David had many accomplishments during his short 44 years: served in the Navy and also in the Army retiring as a Captain where he served in Desert Storm, Gulf War, and Iraq. He graduated with his Master’s degree from UNA and was surgical administrator of Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

David was a prankster with his family and co-workers and had friends all over the country and will be missed by us all. He is survived by his mother, Jerry, his father Max, his step mother Glenda, his sister Tracey Pruett and her husband Pat his three wonderful children, Saylor, Hudson and Cole and countless aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. His smiling face and awesome personality will be missed every day.

Visitation at Valhalla will be from 5-8 on Monday the 21st and Funeral services will be at 2:00 on Tuesday the 22nd.
