It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Chase Conley Jaynes, born on May 20, 1989, who left us too soon on August 29, 2023. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. Chase was a bright light in the lives of many, characterized by his infectious smile, his laughter that could fill a room, his kindness, love, and the way he touched the souls of those around him.
Chase is predeceased by Biological father, Jerry. Grandparents, Rosita Hyland, Samuel R Hyland, Nona Juanita and Bernie Jaynes.
He met his fiancé and life partner, Ashley Lucas, 10 years ago and they share 2 daughters. She was definitely the Ying to his Yang. They had the kind of love where they could finish each others sentences and bust out laughing from an inside joke. She is truly lost without her soul mate.
Chase is survived by his devoted parents, Kimberly and Ronnie Jaynes, who is deeply affected by the loss of their son. Daughters - Madelyn Kennedy Jaynes and Bayleigh June Jaynes. Sister - Brittany Martin (Christopher). Niece - Ellie Navaeh Martin. Uncle - Charles Hyland (Debbie) and a host of cousins that he interacted with frequently. The bond they shared was powerful, and they and the rest of his family were the nucleus of his world. In his lifetime, Chase made profound impacts, personal sacrifices, and celebrated numerous accomplishments that were reflections of his gentle and generous spirit.
Known for his empathy, Chase had a special place in his heart for the residents he served. His love for them was palpable and his commitment was unwavering. He was a self-taught guitar player, passionate about music. Music brought him peace, solace, and an outlet for his creativity. He also harbored dreams of having a vast garden, a place where he could nurture and give life to nature, get his hands in the soil, and feel connected to earth.
Chase was a man who loved his family unconditionally, sometimes to a fault. His deep-rooted love for Alabama Football was a significant part of his identity. His fascination with statistics and his vast knowledge about every fact there was about his beloved team reflected his unwavering enthusiasm and loyalty.
Chase was a beacon of resilience, love, and compassion. His sweet spirit touched many lives and his memory continues to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him. As we mourn the untimely loss of Chase, we celebrate the footprints he has left in our hearts.
