Bonnie Chloe Nelson was born on January 26, 1944 and departed this earth for heaven on February 20, 2022.
Born in Madison County, Alabama, Bonnie was raised by her loving parents, Alpine and Chole Manley. She accepted Jesus as her Savior when she was a young girl. She married the love of her life, Terrell Edgar Nelson at Antioch Baptist Church, on April 2, 1964. Bonnie was an accountant and worked for Intergraph most of her career.
She is survived by her daughters, Rita (David) Brown and Angela (Dean) Brooks; and grandchildren, Andrew (Chelsea) Brown, Austin Brown, and Clarissa Brooks; and great-grand child Liam Oliver Brown; and sister MaryAnn Thompson.
In order to honor Bonnie’s wishes in the current pandemic situation, the family will be having a private ceremony at Valhalla Funeral Home, with Rev. Dean Brooks officiating.
