Billie Franklin Faith

Billie was born on October 8,1941 in Graham, Kentucky to Will and Inez Faith.

After graduating from Graham High School in 1959, he moved to Hammond, IN and worked for Inland Steele. He remained there until 1964 when he was called to serve his country in the United States Army. After his tour of duty, he returned to Kentucky and worked for both Peabody Coal and Island Creek Coal Companies underground coal mines for a total of 30 years. Upon retirement from the coal mining industry, he returned to work for Walmart a total of 20 years, finally retiring at 75 years old. Billie was a devoted Christian man who enjoyed supporting his church community and was a member of Holmes Street Methodist Church in Huntsville.

On April 12,1975, he married the love of his life Margaret Ann Edwards and they spent 49 wonderful years together working, raising their children and enjoying their many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law Bobby and Peggy Faith and stepson, Eddie Barnett.

Billie is survived by his loving wife, Ann; sons, Christopher (Mandi) Faith and Derek Faith; daughter, Maya (Keith) McDonald; Grandchildren, Kent, April, Matthew, Tanner, Tommy, Joey, Cole and Abby; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
