He was preceded in death by his father, James Mitchell Pace, his mother, Anna (Ragan) Pace, brother James (Marie) Pace, sisters Barbara (Paul) Lucas and Mae Francis Hall, his wife, Priscilla (Hernden) Pace, his daughter, Diana Pace, and longtime companion, Ruth Lackey.
Taylor is survived by his children, son, Daniel (Patricia) Pace of Hazel Green, Alabama, daughters Gail Bradley of Harvest, Alabama and Laura (Rick) Head of Fayetteville, Tennessee, along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Taylor served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Afterwards, he began working for Chrysler Corporation in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Huntsville, Alabama to continue his 44 years with Chrysler.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00pm.
