ARTHUR CALVIN BENTLEY January 29, 1928 – July 16, 2016 Arthur Calvin Bentley, 88, passed away early Saturday morning at Valley View Health & Rehab in Madison. Mr. Bentley was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Peggy Bentley; and one daughter, Patty York. He leaves behind to cherish his memory a son, Tony Bentley of Huntsville; 2 granddaughters, Melanie Reed (Chris) of Harvest and Sara McNeal (Mark) of Kelso, TN; 4 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. “Calvin”, as most friends called him, was a graduate of the University of Alabama and was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. He was a retired Civil Servant who began his career as an Electrical Instrument Development Engineer at Redstone in 1954. Calvin Bentley was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him! Memorial services are planned for Tuesday 7/26/16 @ 2:00 pm @ Valhalla Memory Gardens Chapel of Love.
