Regena’s home was always the favorite place in the world for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a safe place filled with fun, activities, good food and much love. She offered advice when asked, never judged, and left everyone with a better feeling about themselves.
She was a member of the West Huntsville Church of Christ, and loved her dear friends in the Golden Sixties Group at that congregation. Many of them experienced the delight of her Tea Cakes, for which she was noted.
The family is so grateful to those who have given her such love and care during her last few years, especially to Francis Hawkins, her very special friend and caregiver; Sincere thanks also to the caring and loving staff at Madison Manor Nursing Home. Their incredible service and kindness will long be remembered.
Interment is at Valhalla Funeral Home and Memory Gardens, followed by a private memorial gathering for the immediate family.
