Amanda Brown Headrick, 36 of Hazel Green, AL passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019. Amanda was born in Huntsville, AL on September 19, 1982. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Norma Brown; grandfather, Dennis Mabrey.
Left to cherish her memory are her father, Wayne Brown; stepmother, Cindy Brown; mother, Denice Brown; sister, Melissa Whitehead; three children, Emma Grace Headrick, Hanna Elizabeth Headrick and James Paul Headrick; grandparents, Phillip Ray Brown, Richard & Sue Crowell and Cora Sue Martin; 8 cousins, two uncles and one aunt, along with a host of other family and friends.
Amanda was a 2000 graduate of Hazel Green High School, where she not only achieved outstanding grades but also had excellent attendance. After High School, Amanda attended Calhoun Community College before getting married and starting her family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Valhalla Memory Gardens in the Garden of The Last Supper on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 3:00pm. The family requests that each one in attendance bring a flower in memory of Amanda and place it upon her casket and to share a special memory of her. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Amanda’s memory, which was a charity very dear to her heart.
