Alice Kathern Plunkett

May 18, 1933 – February 28, 2018

Alice K. Plunkett, 84 passed away peacefully Wednesday morning at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Plunkett was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lilly Prince Vaughn; two brothers, and 2 sisters.

Left to cherish her precious memory is her loving husband of 65 years, Paskel Plunkett ; two daughters, and their husbands, Janice (Tim) Ledbetter of Toney and JoEllen (Glenn) Walls of Hazel Green; two sons and their wives, Johnny (Darla) Plunkett of Hazel Green and Jerry (JoAnn) Plunkett of Tallahassee, FL; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Alice loved life and family and all things beautiful. She worked at SCI in Huntsville for over 15 years. She liked to cook and sew and work in the garden and yard. She loved travelling and camping and spending time with her many grandchildren especially. Alice Plunkett was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her!

You may visit with the family on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 1:00PM-2:00PM at Valhalla Funeral Home. A funeral service conducted by Bro. Joe Plunkett will commence in Valhalla’s chapel at 2:00PM.
