William R. Wright, 92, of Kenova, WV died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. William was born in Huntington on March 1, 1923 to the late Green and Ruby Mays Wright. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Geibel and a brother, Donald C. Wright. William served in the US Navy during WWII achieving the rank of Seaman 1st Class. He as a life member of DAV, the American Motorcycle Association, a former member of Central Christian and a member of the National Rifle Association since the 1950’s. William is survived by a niece, Judy Sullivan of Ironton, OH and a nephew, Jim Wright of Iowa Park, TX. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the West Virginia National Cemetery, in Grafton, West Virginia.
