Jack Kenneth Runyon, 80, of Chesapeake, Ohio, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at his home. He was born March 21, 1935 in Columbus Ohio, a son of the late Kenneth Jack Runyon and Edna Gullett Fox. He established and operated Jack’s Tile City, celebrating 50 years in business in Huntington. He was a member of Seventh Avenue Baptist Church, B.P.O.Elks 313, the Big Green, a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed Boating and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Nancy Mays Runyon; A loving father too his two daughters and son, Cindy (Bill) DeJarnett, Sherry (Carl) Runyon Fox and Jack David Runyon; grandchildren, Rachel Snyder, Stacey Thompson, Michael Runyon, Jennifer Rutherford, Alex and Moley Runyon; nine great grandchildren and his loving baby dog Muffin. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary by Rev. Bob Withers. Interment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park.
