Wilbur Lee Dill, 66, of Fort Wayne and formerly of Huntington, passed away on Thursday December 26, 2024 at University Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Fort Wayne. Wilbur graduated from Huntington North High School in 1978. He had worked for Majestic, The Edge Manufacturing in Bluffton, and the Huntington Orchard. He had attended Heritage Church of Christ. Wilbur was a hardworking man, who loved to provide for his family and help on the farm. He enjoyed doing word searches, coloring, board games, camping, and watching movies He loved to laugh, tell jokes, and never knew a stranger.
Wilbur was born on July 25, 1958 in Huntington a son of the late Maurice and Clois (Killian) Dill.
He was united in marriage to Laurel Faull on November 29, 1986 in Fort Wayne. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include two daughters: Sara Dill of New Haven and Morgan Ezell of Shirley IN; two brothers: Joe Dill of Huntington, and Mark (Paula) Dill of Shipshewana; a sister: Gladys Carter of Marion; and a grandson: Everett Ezell of Shirley IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister: Ruby Holderread; and a son-in-law: Christopher Ezell.
A visitation will take place on Monday January 6, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel. Located at 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington IN 46750.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday January 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Immediately following the visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Interment will be at the Star of Hope Cemetery.
