Tony Lee Dawalt, 57, of Ossian passed away on Friday November 22, 2024 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne. Tony worked as an Assistant Store Manager at Lowes in Marion and he loved his job. Tony's favorite joy in life was being a father and a husband. He loved his time with family and friends, and especially his vacations to the beach, with his daughters and wife. Many of his hobbies included golfing, woodworking in the garage, and working on projects with his girls.
Christmas time was Tony's favorite time of year. He loved to decorate the house, watch Christmas movies, and do Christmas crafts. To celebrate one last Christmas with Tony, the family requests that you please come dressed in Christmas attire so we can honor the great man he was.
Tony was born on September 29, 1967 in Peru Indiana a son of William "David" and Renee (Wiltshire) Dawalt. His parents survive.
Tony was united in marriage to Jennifer Dawalt on April 28, 1990. His wife survives him.
Additional survivors include: two daughters: C.J. Dawalt of Ossian, and Jillien Dawalt of Ossian; and a brother: Stacey (Polly) Dawalt of Fort Wayne.
A visitation will be held on Saturday November 30, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, located at 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington IN 46750.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., immediately following the visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
