Rex was an avid mushroom hunter and fisherman, having enjoyed many trips to Canada and Michigan with his buddies. He also enjoyed camping with “the crew” and traveling to Jamaica with his wife.
Rex will be remembered for his robust personality, his crazy pranks, joking spirit and being the “life of the party”. He will also be remembered for his kindness and his giving heart. He was always willing to help someone in need, no matter what time of day or night. He will be greatly missed by many.
He was a life member of the American Legion, VFW, Elks Lodge and the Moose Lodge, where he served many leadership positions. Rex was an active member of the Veteran’s organization where he participated in a helicopter honor flight.
