Obituary of Myron R. Husband

Myron Russell Husband, 77 of rural Huntington passed away on Thursday evening, May 25, 2023 at Heritage Pointe of Huntington with his family by his side. Myron had worked for twenty years at Square D Company. He then started Husband and Sons construction and Seamless Guttering. Myron was so proud to have his sons and grandkids work alongside him. He was a 1963 graduate of Roanoke High School and then served in the Air National Guard. Myron was a member of the Union Church, where he served as an elder, deacon and trustee. He also served on the Huntington County Fair Board. Myron loved to work with his hands, serving his church, and going to all of his grandkids sporting and school events. Myron was born on November 25, 1945 in Huntington, a son of Russell and Wanah (Humke) Husband. He married his high school sweetheart, Janet Sue Beaver on his 21st birthday, November 25, 1966 at the Union Church. His wife survives. Additional survivors include three sons: Todd (Jaime) Husband of Roanoke, Scott (Kristin) Husband of Huntington and Chris (Beth) Husband of Roanoke; ten grandchildren: Preston (Karly), Grant, Caden, Griffin, Dalton, Dawson, Damon, Maddie, Gavin, and Dylan. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Max L. Husband. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.at the Union Church, 3688 E. 400 N., Huntington, Indiana. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Union Church. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Union Cemetery. Preferred Memorials can be made out to the Union Church Building Fund sent in care of Myers Funeral Home 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, IN 46750.
