Madelyn C. Slone, 72 of Huntington passed away at 6:45 pm on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at her residence. Madelyn was a homemaker, she enjoyed crocheting and she loved taking care of her family.
Madelyn was born on July 15, 1944 in Apalachicola, Florida, a daughter of Charles and Aileen (Wagner) Kornmeyer.
She was united in marriage to Earl Slone on July 14, 1962. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include four daughters: Lora (Steve) Roberts of Huntington; Missy (Junior) Vebert of Huntington; Jo Slone of Huntington; Ruby Jones of Huntington; three sons: Earl (Andrea) Slone, Jr. of Fort Wayne; Mike (Rose) Slone of Andrews; Mitch (Karen) Slone of Bluffton; two sisters: Rose Thering of Michigan; Carolyn Bywater of Michigan; 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son: Dennis Slone.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
