Larry Lingo Harshman

Larry Lingo Harshman, 83 of Huntington, passed away at his home on Saturday morning January 13, 2024. Larry was a factory worker for many years and worked as a supervisor at Majestic for several years. He loved to golf, fish and bowl and he enjoyed hunting in his younger years. Larry was also a member of the American Legion Post 7.
Larry was born on October 22, 1940 in in Huntington, IN. a son of the late William and Leota (Obenour) Harshman.
Survivors include: Two daughters: Sandra Banter and Tammy (Jerry) Downey both of Warren, IN; three grandchildren: Jeremy Downey, Cassie (Tyler) Tackett and Derek Downey all of Warren, IN and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Arnie Harshman, Dick Brown, Sedrick Harshman and Bobby Harshman; five sisters: Betty Bailey, Patricia Wilson, Janice Grimm, Carolyn Dailey and Jeanette Harshman.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 85, 1410 S. Jefferson Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Preferred Memorials can be made out to the Donor’s choice sent in care of Myers Funeral Home 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, IN 46750.
