Hilda "Lucille" Wilson, 94, of Huntington, passed away on Friday February 28, 2025 at Heritage Pointe of Huntington. Lucille graduated from Huntington High School in 1948, she had worked various jobs during her adult life, including Utah Speaker in Huntington. She was an active member of the Rebecca's Lodge in Andrews Indiana for over 60 years, and also the Jolly Dozen. She enjoyed playing cards with friends through the years.
Lucille was born on September 13, 1930 in Montpelier IN, a daughter of the late Clifton and Edith (Morris) Runion. She was the oldest of seven children.
She was united in marriage to Darrell Wilson on August 6, 1948 in Huntington. Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son: Kenny (Julie) Wilson of Huntington; a daughter: Connie (Carlos) Shideler; a daughter-in-law: Anita Wilson; a sister: Susan (Terry) Lindsey; nine grandchildren: Anthony (Audra) Wilson, Amanda (Zach) Vaught, Alex (Kelsey) Wilson, Amy (Rob) Tripp, Lisa (Edward) Stills, Nick (Heather) WIlson, Ashley (Joel) Zahm, Taylor Wilson, and Brady Wilson; and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son: Steven Wilson; a sister:Phyllis Crago; and four brothers: Harold Runion, Ed Runion, Clifford Runion, and Dave Runion.
A visitation will be held on Thursday March 13, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Well United Brethren in Christ Church, located at 1883 Old U.S. 24, Huntington IN 46750.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday March 13, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation at the Well United Brethren in Christ Church, located at 1883 Old U.S. 24, Huntington IN 46750.
Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Andrews.
