Bryant Eugene Kline, 65, of Atlanta and formally of Huntington, passed away on December 6, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia after a valiant effort to defeat pulmonary fibrosis. He was a 1976 graduate of Huntington North High School and a 1981 graduate of Ball State University. Bryant had a long retail career with Target as a regional manager opening Super Target stores in new markets. He finished his career working in a similar capacity with Rite Aid and Dollar General. Bryant had a big heart and was always up for time spent with his children and his grandchildren. Athletics were a central interest for Bryant. He was an avid fan of the University of Michigan and especially enjoyed rooting on the Wolverines football team. He was a true animal lover and would often be found with his treasured pups Mayzie and Roxy. Bryant was a registered organ donor giving life to others even in his passing. His calm and constant nature will be greatly missed.
Bryant was born January 8, 1958 in Huntington to Donnie D. and Norma Elaine (Tyner) Kline.
He was united in marriage November 14, 2018 in Savannah to Stacey Walls. She survives.
Additional survivors include: his mother, Elaine Kline of Huntington; two sons, Nicholas and Jeremy Kline both of Atlanta; stepchildren Brent and Alexis Walls both of Atlanta; grandchildren Alexis, London, and Lula Kline all of Atlanta; brother Brent (Cathy) Kline of Grapevine, Texas; sister Brenda (Steve) Bassett of Huntington; several nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Central Christian Church Fellowship Hall, 500 MacGahan Street, Huntington, Indiana.
