William A. Stemplewicz died on May 2, 2019 at his residence. He was sixty-five years of age. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late George and Louise Gruda Stemplewicz. William had lived in Rockledge for the past year and a half. Bill was previously a longtime resident of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia.
Mr. Stemplewicz was the retired sexton of the Holy Cross Parish in Springfield. He was a graduate of Father Judge Roman Catholic High School and Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. Bill’s life was centered on his Catholic faith and his art. He also enjoyed landscaping and nature
William was the devoted brother of John (Carol) Stemplewicz of Springfield VA, Gerard (Louise) Stemplewicz of Doylestown, Mary Louise (Ron) Bogas of Willow Grove, Judy (Randy) Moyer Reedsville PA and Barbara (Walter) Webb of Philadelphia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday May 9, 2019 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Albert the Great Church, 212 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley. His Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM. His Inurnment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the American Heart Association.
