Marykutty was born on November 25, 1955, in Mundukottackal Family in Pathanamthitta, Kerala to parents, C E Varghese & Thankamma Varghese. Marykutty immigrated to the United States in 1998 with her husband and children. She was a long-time resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She went on to work at Cardone for 12 years and retired in 2011. She has been in fellowship with Philadelphia Brethren Assembly, Glenside, Pennsylvania since 1998.
Marykutty loved spending time with family and having get-togethers where she could show her love through cooking. She was known to have the best Indian pickles and would always prepare a jar for anyone who stops by. She was keen on helping the needy through donations and acts of kindness. She believed in showing Christ’s love through her words and especially through caring and sharing.
While she may be physically absent and her voice silent, we are confident that the message of her life will continue to reverberate through us and the generations to come. She lived an amazing life with the conviction that this world is not her final home and that no coffin ever be her final destination because Jesus assured that, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and the one who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” Therefore, she fought the good fight of faith, finished the course, and kept the faith to reach her final destination. A life well lived for the glory of God. She had a song to sing, a story to tell and a life to share and it was all about her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Marykutty was survived by her husband Samuel V Thomas, three children: Daughter Jessly Samuel with Son-in-law Sunny Cherian with grandkids (Keziah & Norah & grand doggy Daisy). Daughter Jensy Jobby with Son-in-law Jobby Joy with grandkids (Aliza & Johan). Son Jenson Samuel with Daughter-in-law Seena Thomas & grand doggy (Ariel).
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. - Psalms 23
