Peter Gordon Weindorfer, age 85, passed away on Saturday October 29, 2022 peacefully at his home in Huntingdon Valley, PA. He was a long time resident of Huntingdon Valley, PA, Lower Moreland Township, for over 50 years.
Peter Gordon Weindorfer was born on December 2, 1936 in Philadelphia PA, to parents, Joseph and Genevieve. He graduated from Cheltenham High School. He then continued his education, graduating from Temple University with a degree in accounting where he made the Deans List. Peter went on to establish a career as a Certified Public Accountant working for the country’s top accounting firms before starting his own CPA firm. He was also a real estate broker and conducted many of his business endeavors in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia where he became an asset to the community.
In addition, Mr. Peter G. Weindorfer served proudly in the United States Army as a First Lieutenant in the Finance Corps.
Being a great baseball player himself, he had a passion for all Philadelphia sports teams and was an avid fan. This love of sports led him to coach many of his children’s sports teams in the Huntingdon Valley/Lower Moreland area.
Peter was a loyal loving husband to his wife Ruth for over 60 years. Ruth had just passed in January 2022.

A viewing for Peter will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Lamb Funeral Home Inc., 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006. A burial will occur Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006.
