Michael A Donatelli Sr.

Michael A. Donatelli, Sr. passed away peacefully on Thursday October 6, 2001 at the Abington Memorial Hospital Hospice. He was 97 years of age. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Americo and Josephine Russo Donatelli. He had lived Sewell, NJ for the past 20 Years. He had previously been a resident of Sea Isle City, NJ, Churchville, PA, and the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

Mr. Donatelli was a retired Pharmacist at the Sidney Hillman Clinic in Philadelphia. He had previously owned and operated his own pharmacies in Germantown, Ambler and South Philadelphia.

Michael was a dedicated Catholic and a Communicant of St. Peter and Paul Parish in Sewell, NJ. He was an accomplished musician.

Michael was the beloved husband of Eleanor (Lamb) Donatelli for 40 years before her death in1985. He was the devoted father of Joseph T. (Lynne) Donatelli of Philadelphia, Eleanor J. (John) Michele of Glenside, Cecilia M. (Edward) Taylor of Sewell, NJ, Gregory J. (Theresa) Donatelli of Glenside, and the late Michael A, (survived by his wife Lynne) Donatelli, Jr. of Feasterville, PA. He was the loving grandfather of Gina Donatelli, Michael Donatelli (Beth), Lisa Dudley (Chris), Nicole Taylor, Linda Donatelli, Greg Donatelli, Natalie Taylor, Tony Donatelli, J. T. Donatelli, Angela Donatelli, Richie Donatelli, Michael Donatelli, Danny Donatelli, and Eddy Donatelli; great grandfather of Bailey Donatelli, Eve Donatelli, Jacob, Logan Dudley, and Fiona Dudley.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday evening from 7 to 9 at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Rd. Huntingdon Valley, PA and Tuesday from 10 to 11 at St. Luke the Evangelist Church, Easton Rd. & Fairhill Ave., Glenside, PA. His Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM. The interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA.
