Marlene Katrina Nelson died on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at her residence. She was fifty-four years of age. She was born Poland, she was the daughter of Lana Fogelman and step-daughter of Leon Fogelman of Philadelphia. She is the loving mother of Derek Dee Nelson.
Katrina came to the Philadelphia from Poland in 1980. She was a clinical pharmacologist at Methodist Hospital Jefferson Health in Philadelphia. She was employed at the hospital for over fifteen years.
Ms. Nelson was a graduate of Temple University and Temple University School of Pharmacy. She enjoyed traveling, baking and gourmet cooking.
In addition to her son, mother and step-father she is survived by her uncle Henry Korn and her aunt Helen Korn. She is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
Relatives and friend are invited to her funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA. Her interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
