Born in Chicago, IL on February 10, 1944, she is the daughter of the late Robert John Runge and Virginia (Lowry) Runge. She is survived by her husband, Robert James McHenry, daughter, Deborah Biehl (Thomas), sons: Robert McHenry Jr (Jennifer), Thomas McHenry (Nancijane), Charles McHenry (Danielle) and nine grandchildren, Matthew, Emma, David, Logan, Charlie Anne, Madelene, James, Isaac and Jax, sisters Patricia Heller (Hanes), Leslie Badura (Richard) along with many nieces and nephews.
Linda attended Illinois Wesleyan University where she met Bob. Linda held many careers: copywriter, real estate agent, retail sales, administrative assistant, but her favorite careers were wife and mother. Linda’s pride and joy was her family. Linda was active in their church Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Doylestown. She performed in the State Street Players cabaret group, sang in the choir, was Assistant Director of Religious Education and active in Pre-Cana. She also actively volunteered with athletic groups, schools and the many outside activities her kids took part in. Wherever her family was, you could always find her there.
In 2007, she and Bob retired to the greater Tampa area of Florida. She and Bob lived their lives traveling and enjoying time with their children and grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial Mass at 10:30 am, Friday, October 18, 2024, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown where the family will greet guests from 9:30 am until the time of Mass. Private interment will follow at a later date.
