Born in Xinyi, Guangdong, China, he was the son of the late Guo Xian Qiu and De
Yi Zhou. Mr. Qiu came to the United States in 1994. He had lived in Philadelphia,
New York and Smyrna, DE.
Liang was a graduate of Sun Yat-sen University in 1943. He was a college
professor and the principal of the Guangxi Overseas Chinese School. Mr. Qiu also
served as the CEO of the Weng Yuan Bank. He was a teacher at Jiangxi Chemical
Industry Institute since 1960.
Liang was the beloved father of Zhen Kun Qiu of Smyrna, DE and John Qiu of
Philadelphia, PA. He was the loving grandfather of Lian Chen, Chengfu Qiu, Susan
Qiu, Brendon Qiu and Jeffrey Qiu. He was the loving great-grandfather of Xing
Qiu, Yue Qiu, Zurie Chen and Summit Chen.
