John Paul Zeisel

He was a long time resident of Towanda, PA. John was born on November 6, 1943 in Republic of Czechoslovakia, to parents Albin and Margaret Zeisel (nee Spitzkopf). He graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School in 1962. John worked in textiles and was also a Truck Driver for EMTA until his retirement in 2009. John loved to be in the woods and sitting on his back deck. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing; they were some of his favorite things to do. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His door was always open to anyone who wanted to come and visit.

John was preceded in death by his father Albin, mother Margaret and brother Fritz.

John was a loving father to his son John A. (Maureen) of Trevose, PA, her son Eddie, Teresa and their daughter Ellamina. Brother to his sister Elizabeth of Newtown, PA. Uncle to his 2 nieces Linda (Rick) of Rehoboth Beach, DE, and Kristine (Chalie) Holland, PA their daughters Bryn and Meghan. Joan the loving mother to John A, John’s siblings, Richard, Jennifer & Chris. Deborah & her daughter Suzanne (Eric) of TN. His family in Germany, friends Curtis and Debbie, Ron and Debbie, Skip, Werner and so many other people who will miss him dearly.

A visitation will be held at Lamb Funeral Home Inc., 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Immediately following the service will be an inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W. Cheltenham Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19150.
