Harvey Ashton Headley Jr.

Harvey was born on March 31, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Harvey Ashton Headley Sr. and Marion Shaw (Arnold). Harvey proudly served our country in the Navy as a BM3 with the USS Turner Joy and fought in the Vietnam War from 1964-1966. He then established a career as a Mail Carrier for the Postal Service in Philadelphia for over 25 years.

Harvey enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved tending to his garden and spending time in nature. Above all, he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; Harvey Ashton Headley Sr. and Marion Headley (Arnold). As well as his sister Anne Miller (Bob).

Harvey is survived by his sister Sandra Leonardo (Joseph); his six children: daughter, Patty-Ann Person (Dave), daughter, Jacqueline Stoles (the late Russell), son, Harvey III (Christina), son, Leslie; and their mom, Patricia Headley, as well as daughters, Ashley Altimari (Anthony), and Jennifer Brady (Shane), and their mom, Rolma Sautner. Harvey is also survived by his grandchildren: Lars, Benjamin, Derek (Elizabeth), Julia (Matt), Steven, Alex, Jessica (Ray), Justin, Kiersten, Sean, Emma, Mackenzie, Logan and Jack; and great grandchildren, as well as a niece and nephews.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, from 10:00am – 12:00pm, with a Service to follow.
