She was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., the daughter of the late Calvin Lemuel Wilson and Mildred Smalley Hunter.
She grew up in Glenside, and spent most of her life in Warminster, and Herndon, Va., and most recently at Virtua Health & Rehabilitation Center in Mount Holly, N.J.
Mrs. Stubler loved being a homemaker. She was a devout Christian and studied the Bible daily.
Gladys was the beloved wife of the late James. Her three daughters were her pride and joy, Cynthia A. Walk (Charles R.), Patricia J. Howard, and Shirley L. Gordon. Her two sisters, Nancy Goetz and Arlene Kish; her nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, also will sadly miss her. Her brother, Johnnie Wilson, preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley. Interment will be held privately.
