Geraldine Antoinette Smith passed away on January 1, 2020, at Southampton Estates in Southampton, PA. She was 90 years old. Born Geraldine Antoinette Molyneux on January 27, 1929, in Rochester, NY, she was the loving wife of Ralph W. Smith for 57 years until his passing in 2010.
Geraldine (Gerry to close friends and family) received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education from the State Teachers College at Brockport in 1950. She went on to get her Master of
Science degree in Elementary Education from the State University of New York in 1956.
Along with being a devoted wife to Ralph, she was also a loving mother to William D. Smith of Southampton, the late Kenneth H. Smith and Ann (Dan) Smith Thompson of Chandler, AZ. She was the loving grandmother of Thomas (Melissa) Smith, Robert (Ashley) Smith, Kathryn (Dan) Smith Dougherty, Kevin Smith, Nathaniel Thompson and Gabrielle Thompson and great grandmother of Abigail Smith, David Smith and Katelin Smith.
Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 5, 2020 in the auditorium of Southampton Estates, 238 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North and Southampton Reformed Church, 1380 Bristol Road, Churchville, PA 18966.
