George E. Krug, Sr. was called home on Friday, October 5, 2012 at his residence, George was 81. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late George and Mildred Crawley Krug. He had lived in Neshaminy Falls a section of North Wales, PA for the past 11 years, previously and a life-long resident of Philadelphia.
Mr. Krug was a serviceman with the Philadelphia Gas Works for 25 years before his retirement. George loved traveling to Florida with his wife, Jean. He enjoyed playing golf and cards and was a baseball fan.
George E. Krug was the beloved husband of Jean M. Garr Krug for 59 years before her death in 2011. He was a devoted father to George Krug Jr., Carol Kuntzmann, Tom Krug, Kenny Krug, Nancy Castor, and Debbie Krug. He was a loving grandfather to Kurt Kuntzmann Jr., Gayle Kuntzmann, Eddie Castor, Amanda Krug, Luke Castor, Samantha and Karli Krug, Erik and Nicole Castor. He was predeceased by his loving brother Richard Krug who died at age 18. He was a loving uncle and devoted friend to many.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday October 8th from 7 to 9 PM and Tuesday October 9th from 10 to 11 AM at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA. His services will follow at 11 AM. The interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
