

Frances was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Janina and Frank Piotrowski. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony and her sister, Dolores Zaleski. She is survived by her sister, Mary Ann Matuszewski, her four sons, Michael Murawski (Maryann), John Murawski (Deena), Christopher Murawski (Lesley) and Joseph Murawsk and her five grandchildren, Maria, Ben, Kyrie, David and Steven.
She was raised on a small farm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education at Rider University and a Master’s Degree in Education from Temple University. She was a teacher for both the Quakertown and the Easton School Districts. As her sons grew, she worked as a teller for PSFS and in accounts receivable for Hope Industries of Hatboro. She also was a typing instructor at both the Upper Moreland and Hatboro Horsham Evening Schools.
She married Anthony Murawski of Albany, New York, in 1958. She was his devoted wife and raised a family of four boys who were active in Scouting with Cub Scout Pack 137 and Boy Scout Troop 137. She was a faithful participant at Mass and active in ministries at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Warrington, Pennsylvania, where she was a Founding Member. She participated in numerous church Christmas bazaars, was a charter member of the parish’s EP’s and is remembered for organizing a Polish Dance in 1977.
She moved to Orlando in 1994 where she quickly became an integral member of the Williamsburg Montpelier community. She eventually was elected the President of the Montpelier Homeowners Association. She was also a volunteer at the Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Shrine.
In 1996, she traveled to Italy and had the honor of meeting Pope John Paul II. She engaged in many hobbies including quilting, knitting and cross stich. She will be remembered as an avid domino player and a feisty lady who lived every day to its fullest.
Family visitation and viewing will be held at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 29, 2015, and at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave, Warrington PA 18976, from 10:00 AM to11:00 AM on Monday, November 30, 2015.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, November 30, 2015, at 11 AM at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, followed by interment at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA.
