Doris E. Hinkle

Doris E. Hinkle died on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. She was 85 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Doris Dixon. Doris was a Pennsville, NJ resident for the last 14 years and had previously lived in Philadelphia.

Mrs. Hinkle was a homemaker. She was a former Bell Telephone operator. Doris was a Member of the Senior Circle of Salem Hospital and former member of the St. Martin of Tours Senior’s in Philadelphia.

Doris was the beloved wife of Frederick G. Hinkle for 66 years. She was the devoted mother of Frederick R. Hinkle (Linda) of W. Brandywine, PA, Carol Ann Robinson (Thomas) of Swedesboro, NJ, Robert Hinkle (Joyce) of Taylorsville, KY, Donna Lynn Miklas (Shawn Boyer) of Quarryville, PA, and Charles D. Hinkle (Theresa) of Pennsville, NJ. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, September 15th from 11 to 11:30 AM at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA. Her service will follow at 11:30 AM. The interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
