Carmelia Irene Lauro

Carmelia Irene Lauro left us on Monday November 28, 2011 at Elm Terrace Gardens in Lansdale, PA. She was 91 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Leah Lauro. Carmelia had lived in Lansdale for the past 10 years. She was previously a longtime resident of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia.

Carmelia was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. She was very family oriented and was a loving aunt. She was like a mother to many of her niece and nephews.

Carmelia is survived by her brother John (Joyce) Lauro of Deckerville, MI, her niece Kim (John) Clark of Franklin, NJ her nephews Alan (Claire) Gallagher of Harrisburg, PA Robert (Linda) Gallagher of Lansdale, and John (Vicki) Lauro, III of Uniontown, OH . She was predeceased by her sisters Dolores Gallagher, and Thelma Lauro.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday December 3, 2011 from 11 AM to 12 Noon at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Her funeral service will follow at noon. The interment will be private.
