Barbara Lee Van Swearingen

Barbara Lee Van Swearingen born March 24, 1939 passed away into heavenly peace on Wednesday, March 10 2023. Born in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, attended Frankford HS and lived most of her live in the Philadelphia area.The Snowbird season started in 2002 when she divided her time between Perkasie, PA and Stuart, FL.

Barbara is survived by her sister, Sondra Beaber, her nieces and nephews: Jay Beaber and Masha Polinski in Colorado; Terry and Andrea Cole in Texas; Tracy Namie in Maryland; Brad and Stacie Beaber in Colorado. In addition, there are many grand-nieces and grand-nephews and cousins who loved her dearly.

Barbara was known for her lifelong friendships with many people throughout the years. Running yard sales, flea markets and just socializing were her favorite pastimes.

In lieu of flowers, Barbara specifically requested that you make a donation to the charity of your choice and share a story or memory with surviving family members.

A visitation for Barbara Lee will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lamb Funeral Home Inc., 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006. An interment will occur Friday, May 19, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006.
