Barbara Ellen Geib

A long time resident of Warminster, PA, Barbara was born on September 5, 1939 in Philadelphia, to parents, Charles Zemartis and Nellie (White) Zemartis.

Barbara was truly an angel on earth, she was selfless, nurturing, loving and lived for her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and daughter. After she and her husband raised their seven children, Barbara had her own cleaning business until her mother had a stroke. The quintessential caretaker, she dropped everything to take care of her for the next fourteen years until her mother's passing, and was honored to do so. Quiet and reserved, but strong and fiercely protective, Barbara always put everyone’s needs above her own, she was our rock. She was never one to give unsolicited advice or pass judgment, and she was always there when you needed her, she refused to take credit for anything she did or gave to others. She will be greatly missed.

Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Ellen Geib, her parents, Charles and Nellie, brothers: Charles Zemartis, John Zemartis, Robert Zemartis, and sisters: Joan Bowers, Bertha Nybeck, Charlotte Reiser, and Patricia Grayson.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 67 years, Franklin Geib, daughter, Jean Mattes and her husband, Charles, daughter, Dolores Menchaca and her husband, Richard, son, Franklin Geib, son, Glenn Geib and his wife, Kimberly, daughter Teresa Palm and her husband, Rory, son, George Geib and his wife, Emily, daughter Stacy Bunn, nineteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, brother, Lawrence Zemartis, sisters: Judy Palait, Nancy Disanto, Andrea Formica, and Susan Donley and her husband, William.

A Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA, followed by the funeral service, and then the interment at Forest Hills Cemetery.
