Growing up she spent time in Brookshire, TX and 5th Ward.
She met and married Linnie Terry Chatman Sr. January 5, 1973. To this union four beautiful children were born: Tauna Gordon (Richard), Linnie Terry Jr. (Melissa), Chiqita Williams, and Lorenzo. She was blessed with ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She loved family and church. So much so she furthered her biblical studies at the School of The Prophets. Her faith was unwavering and steadfast while serving at The Point Christian Outreach Ministries under the leadership of her brother and Pastor Apostle Cary L. Baker.
Throughout her adulthood she held jobs at the daycare, Post Office, UPS, and later retired from Aldine ISD. However, she most enjoyed her time being a stay home Mom and wife.
