Robert is a proud veteran who served from 1968 – 1972 in the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. Fighting in the war, imposed a lot of hardships that led on years after he served in the military. After his service in the military, he made a career in mechanics and was a specialist in rebuilding transmissions. He loved his family, music, and learned how to play the accordion on his own.
Those who knew him best, know Robert didn’t like big crowds and loved to make jokes. He lived the last 19 years in the Valley, where he found solitude, away from the fast-paced environment of Houston. He loved his wife, parents, brothers, sisters and children very dearly.
