Richard Oscar Torres

Rick and his wife Cynthia spent 42 inseparable years together. He was a carpenter by trade and coach at heart. He spent much of his spare time at the baseball fields with his children, and in the later years with his grandchildren. He had a love for children that was undeniable. He loved the beach and in his younger years most would have called him a beach bum. Rick was never afraid to experience life or show his family new and exciting things. Life for him was an adventure and we were all along for the ride.

Rick is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Torres; his children Kristie Torres Bazan (Danny), Alex (Dee) Torres (Isidora), Eric (Smoke) Torres (Cynthia), Ashley (Ash) Torres Carter (Bryson); grandchildren Desmond, Damien, Alyssa, Landon, Desirey, Avery, Kevin, Leo, Lexi; his brother Sam Torres; his father & mother-in-law Rodolfo & Maria Estrada Sr.; brother-in-law Richard Estrada & Sister-in-law Carrie Estrada; and many Nieces, Nephews, Family & Friends.

Family and friends and others whose lives Rick touched are invited to Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21723 Aldine Westfield Road Humble, TX 77338 beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday May 30, 2020 for the Viewing and Funeral.
