Jose "Chongo" Luis Martinez

He was born January 13, 1953 in Houston,Texas.

Jose married his wonderful wife Dalia Martinez December 8th, 1972. He was a professional driver for a waste management company. Joe loved to gamble,bowl, cracking lots of jokes and had a great love of food.

Joe was survived by his children; Jennie Dominguez(Freddie), Michelle Carreon(David), Victoria Vandenberghe(Phillip), Kimberly Martinez and (Michael). His grandchildren Melissa, Freddie, Kennedy,Matthew, Roland, Phoebe, Phillip Jr. and Ethan. His Great Grandchildren; Logan, Janie and Brian. His sister Elida. He is preceded in death by his grandchild Brian along with his siblings Adam, Paul, Margaret and Santiago.

A visitation for Chongo will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338, followed by a celebration of life from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
