John Lee Peck, age 83, of Spring, Texas passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023, with his daughter Lisa and son John by his side. John is survived by his children Lisa Joe, John Lyndell, Wesley Allen and James Davis Peck, his 8 grandchildren Joseph Layne, Kimberly Anne, Tayler Marie, Sloane Leanne, Christiana Lynn, Jamie Lynn, Shane Patrick, James Alan, many great, and great great, grandchildren.
John was born in Hartford City, Indiana on November 15, 1940. He married Judy Garrison on February 15, 1963. They had three children Lisa Jo, John Lyndell and Wesley Allen Peck. John also had a son from a previous marriage named James Davis (Jimmy).
John Lee is survived by his eldest son Jimmy Peck; his wife is Blanche Barnes. Jimmy and Blanche have 4 children, Christiana Lynn, Jamie Lynn, Shane Patrick and James Alan. His surviving children with his lifelong love Judy Peck are Lisa Jo Peck her two children Joseph Layne Collins, Kimberly Anne Catino and their children Adalynne Collins, Kaydin and Adam Catino. John Lyndell Peck, bachelor for life. His youngest son Wesley Allen Peck, his two children Tayler Marie and Sloane Leanne Peck. His surviving siblings are Ronald Peck, Nickie Schwartzkopf, Pat Norton, Terri Sharp, Darlene Peck Lenhart, Terry Elliott, Tim Norton, Mike Norton and Garlen Peck.
John's hobbies were life, work and love. He was a man with drive and once he set his mind to a task it was going to get done. At 83 he never quit, colon cancer, congestive heart failure and a broken hip could not keep him down. Long road trips to visit relatives, Postal State and National Conventions. One of his favorite things to do was mow the yard. He was a caring man, who would literarily do anything he could to help anyone in need. He will be dearly missed.
A visitation for John will be held Thursday, December 28 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX. Funeral services will take place at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Friday, December 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM to Noon, with a lunch to follow on premises.
