George Jamison, born on October 13, 1941, in Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. He was a man of great character, a loving father, dedicated husband, and cherished grandfather and great-grandfather.
George graduated from Jeff Davis High School in 1960 and went on to live a life full of love, devotion, and service to his family and community. In 1962, he married Brenda Joyce Bullard, with whom he had two sons, Kelly and Phil. Together, they built a home in Houston where George was deeply involved in coaching football and baseball for his sons, fostering their love for sports. In 1968, George and his family moved to Spring, Texas, where they continued to build their life.
In his later years, George found a second love when he met Shirley Tipton at Bammel Road Church of Christ. They married on August 6, 1988, at the Church where they first crossed paths. George and Shirley made their home in Katy, Texas, before returning to Spring in 1999, where they enjoyed nearly 36 years together.
George is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Jamison and Lola Mae Carr. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; his two sons, Kelly (spouse LeAnn) and Phil (spouse Wendy); his grandchildren, Alex, Henry, and Ashlee; and his great-grandchildren, Italy and Tinsley.
