Donald M. Young Sr.

Donald M. Young Sr., 83, of Spring, Texas passed away on November 27, 2011. Donald was born on December 4, 1927 and proudly served in the Air Force following World War II occupying Japan. Following this he was employed by Delta for 35 years, after he retired he worked for 7 years as a bus driver for Spring ISD. Most of all Donald was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Cullum. Donald is survived by his wife of 62 years Mary Louise; sons Don and wife Diane and Mike and wife Pam as well as his sister Norma Johnson, son-in-law Don Cullum, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on December 1, 2011 from 5-7 PM, a rosary will be held from 7-8 PM. Funeral service will take place on December 2, 2011 at 12 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home-Chapel with interment to follow at 2 PM at Houston National Cemetery 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
