David L. Rambo, 72, of Porter, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025. He was born on May 31, 1952, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Doc and Lila Rambo. David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and will be remembered for his passion for life and his love of family.
On January 11, 1989, David married the love of his life, Cynthia Tyler, and together they shared a life filled with joy, love, and mutual respect. David was a proud father to his children Jennifer, Cheryl, and Kenneth, and a doting grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, Lauren, Genevieve, Alicia and Kenneth.
David's professional career was marked by his work with Conley Performance, where he played an essential role in building engines. His dedication to his craft and his attention to detail made him a respected figure in his field.
A lifelong fan of Nascar, David had a deep passion for the sport and enjoyed spending time watching races and discussing his favorite drivers. His enthusiasm for Nascar was a reflection of his energetic and vibrant personality.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Doc and Lila Rambo, and his brother, Vergil Rambo. He leaves behind his wife, Cynthia; children Jennifer, Cheryl, and Kenneth; grandchildren Lauren, Genevieve, Alicia and Kenneth who will forever cherish his memory.
