He received his education in Texas City, Tx and graduated from college with a bachelor degree from Houston Tillotson University in 1966.
David had several interests especially photography where he covered weddings, family reunions and personal portraits. He also enjoyed live jazz from coast to coast and was a 20+ year ticket holder at the Monterey Jazz Festival in Monterey California.
David worked at the Texas refinery for several years before moving to California to work with in a family business.
David then met Cynthia and they married in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004 and then moved back to his home state of Texas in 2008. They settled in Spring, Texas, in a beautiful community surrounded by loving and caring neighbors.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, sister Beatrice Moore-Silver; brother Charles Moore Jr., and wife, brother Lorenzo Moore.
David leaves in God's care his wife Cynthia Belcher-Moore, two nieces Charline Moore-Woodard and Queen Victoria Moore. A host of cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
A celebration of life gathering for David will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cem, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338.
