Daniel Harris Clark

Mr. Clark was a graduate of Kashmere High School and Texas Southern University. He then went on to pursue his career with the United States Postal Service, giving them 30 years of service before retiring in 2004.

Mr. Clark enjoyed playing basketball with his friends and was also a very competitive bowler. He was also a Corvette lover, he enjoyed dropping his top on his convertible and cruising the city on the weekends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Sarah Clark; one sister Dorothy Bradley and three brothers James Clark, Willie Clark Sr. and Henry Clark.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Vallerie Mims Clark; one daughter Ebony Clark; one step-son Bernard Mims Jr.; three grandchildren Alizem Santana, Isaiah Santana and Anthony Santana; one great-grandson Aunyx Grey Santana; one sister Wanda Green; one brother George Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A celebration of life for Daniel will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338, followed by a repass from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
