Clourid Sterling Jarrod Johnson entered the world on November 29, 1984. He was born in Houston, Texas to Warilyn Sinclair-Johnson. Clourid Johnson was a member of Booker T. Washington’s graduating class of 2003. He furthered his education at Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas.
He met Kassandra Lea Hardts in 2003 and united in holy matrimony in 2007. To this union three children were born; Clourid Johnson Jr., Cameron Johnson and Chloe Johnson.
He was baptized at a young age. So from an early age he knew and loved the Lord. He was ordained as a Deacon by Pastor Phillip R. Kent Sr. at Houston First St. Matthews Church in 2006. He later was one of the founding members of Cathedral of Life Church under the leadership of Pastor Phillip R. Kent Jr. in 2009.
Clourid was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle and godfather. He loved being with his family and numerous friends. He had a passion for football and loved to help and guide children. He was also a great role model and mentor for many.
Clourid was employed at Centerpoint Energy for over 10 years. He took pride in how he looked; loved clothes, shoes, watches and let’s not forget his favorite word “kid”. To know him was to love him. He was always honest whether you liked it or not but at the end of the day he was a true “No” man. He always looked forward to events that brought his family and friends together.
On Thursday, December 1, 2016; God dispatched his angels and spoke these words: “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things” (Matthew 25:23) and he welcomed Clourid home.
The life and legacy of Clourid Sterling Gerard Johnson will be cherished by his loving wife of 10 years, Kassandra Johnson; Two sons, Clourid Johnson Jr. & Cameron Johnson; Daughter, Chloe Johnson; Mother, Warilyn Sinclair-Johnson; Sister, Carlishia J. Johnson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, god-children, relatives and friends.
