Grandma Thanks for being in my dream ! It was so great to see you. We were at Olive Garden ( I know it was one of your favorit ) You made a gift that was a game for everyone, like you always did at your parties. It was so real. Everyone was crying... " How can you be here ? " It was Really Really Great to see. Please come see me aging soon. We Miss you so much and Love you !!!

Merry Christmas, Chickie. This is going to be my first Christmas without you in 66 yrs. Yes, I know you're spending Christmas with Jesus and I'm happy for you but I really do miss you. I  called Kathy to thank her for the beautiful ornament but even after 8 months I still cry about you no being here. We haven't been together for Christmas in years but I always knew I could call you. I can hear you now saying " Gerri, you can't change things, just do what you can and just hope it works out." My pandora turned its self on and was playing my oldies station. . . But the weird part was, they were the songs I use to here at grandma all of them, I love you grandma, I know you're just making me not forget the memories

I have always thought of you as the bond that kept all of our families together.We were always over at your house for parties, egg hunts, holidays or just swimming. I remember the summers at the shore they were a blast. So many good times that will not be forgotten. Thanks for all the good memories.

It's been a month, but seems like yesterday you left us. We will all miss you greatly.Your kids, grandkids and a few greatgrand kids. I just wish all of the greatgrand kids, here and to come, would have had you in their lives. But I'm sure from the stories they hear they will love and cherish you the way all the grandkids do.
 I am sure you are with your grandmother now, and I know how much you cherished her. I know you will be watching over all of us.

One month ago at 9:10pm , we all lost a great person so she could go to heaven to be without pain. And now I feel lost. We didn't always talk on the phone or see alot of each other but we always knew we could depend on each other.  All my life you looked after your baby sister and I know you're still watching over me. Aunt Chickie,
It is still hard to believe you are gone.I remember when we were growing up being at your house and swimming.There was someone always in your pool. Your house was always full of happiness. You were a loving, thoughtful and caring person.You always had a smile on your face. I thank God every day for giving me that night with you, my mom and Aunt Gerri listening to the stories of when ya'll were growing up. I hope that you and Aunt Pat can stay out of trouble up there in Heaven but have lots of fun. Butterflies and purple will always keep us close in heart and mind. I love and miss you!

My heart goes out to the whole family! I spent time with them and I remember her always being so sweet to everyone and loving.  Always happy!  God Bless!

I remember the times when we went on road trips and you would tell me stories about your kids.... Like they all have songs with there names in them and about Eddy Michael and Mark  how they followed Your Father around like little ducks following behind him and they would go digs a hole. my husband still dige holes ! The ride in the car was some of my Favorite times! And the time you told me I had to learn to Play the Game (the game of Life & Marriage ) and I said " I don't like to play games "!.... LOL 
Your were right. And now I don't know who I'm going to talk to now !!!

Mom there are no words to express my feelings. It doesn't matter how old you are, you always "need" your mom.
 Our relationship may have been different than most other mother-daughter relationships. But that just makes us what we both were...."unique", I'm sure only you and I will ever understand it....but no one else needs to understand.
I am not going to say you WILL be missed...You ARE missed. When you went to finally "rest", you know you took alittle piece of us with you.
I know way too well what your ideas on the after life were, with that being said, I will be communicating with you in the near future.

I have a lot of fond memories of going to my aunt Chickie's house,my mom with all her sisters playing cards talking and laughing!!!!!! All the Holidays,Sunday dinners....I will miss her verry much but I already invission her in Heaven with my mom and their mom and family and friends who have gone on before!!!!
