Cesar A. Samayoa died at age 83 in Houston TX, Saturday September 21, 2013 of cancer. Cesar was born on May 28, 1930 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to his parents Ismael Samayoa and Matilde Rivera. He lived his youth and worked in the textile industry in Guatemala. He married Liduvina Ramirez in 1957. He came to the U.S. in 1969 and his wife and four sons Cesar, Byron, Marlon and Marco Samayoa joined him a year later in New York. He worked in New York for Entenmann's Bakery.
He was a family man and faithful member of Hispanic Baptist Church of Bay Shore N.Y. for 25 years and was loved for his kindness, humility, and his love for Christ. He was a prayer warrior and a role model to his sons. After retiring in 1990, he moved to Florida, then to California, and then to Houston, TX were he resided for 5 years.
Cesar A. Samayoa is survived by his wife Liduvina and four sons: Cesar, Byron, Marlon and wife Melissa, Marco and wife Linda, four brothers: Roberto, Manuel, Juan, Carlos, sister Soledad , 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Please join the family for a night of visitation on Thursday, September 26th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home 21723 Aldine Westfield Rd. Humble, TX 77338 and Funeral Service Friday, September 27th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
