Tommorrow will be my first birthday without you. You were a wonderful mother and I feel lost without you. Les, Jacqueline, Claudia and Cookie,
I am so sorry for your loss.  I know that you all loved Carin more than anything .   A huge hole has been left in your heart and I pray that God will ease your pain.  

I met Carin when she, Les and children moved in across the street from us in Northampton.  Carin was so warm and friendly and from the beginning we became best of friends.  Carin always had a smile for everyone.  We both had baby boys and they were "buddies". We were inseparable.  We loved our afternoon coffee time when the boys could play.  Our families often got together for dinner, parties, sitting around the pool or a night out on the town.  We had so much fun together doing just ordinary things.  Carin was the life of the party.  She and Les would have the best parties that usually lasted way into the wee hours.  I've never laughed so much as when I was with Les and Carin.  She was so funny and had the best stories.  She would tell everyone she was from the Mississippi river bottom with that accent only Carin had.  Just thinking back brings a smile to my face!  We were there to support each other too.  She helped me thru a terrible divorce and when our kids were sick we were there for each other.  I could always count on Carin.  

Carin was not a perfectionist, but she achieved excellence in everything she did from painting to selling homes. She was also a fantastic cook.  She introduced me to some delicious german cooking and there were a few recipes she liked of mine too.  I introduced her to real estate sales..  Needless to say she exceeded everyone's expectations, she was a natural, combined with her personality, intelligence, charm and the greatest wit imaginable her real estate career took off.  Carin was also one classy lady.  She was a striking beauty and with her modeling background she always looked like she just stepped out of a Vogue magazine.  

Carin loved life and lived it to the fullest...She loved Les and her children more than life itself.  Her life revolved around her family.  She had the biggest and most caring heart of anyone I've ever known. Everyone that knew Carin has those special memories we can rely on.  I close my eyes and a beautiful memory of Carin comes to mind with no pain, feeling great and that big beautiful smile.  I would loved to have just one more cup of coffee with her.

Although our path's took us in different directions I was alway proud to be her friend.  I loved her dearly and cherished our friendship.  She will always remain in a special place in my heart and until we meet again, rest in peace my friend.

Carin, I feel priveledged to have called you my friend and I shall miss you dearly. May this beautiful soul rest in peace though Ive never had the plesure in meeting Miss.Carin personally Ive had the plesure in knowing her daughter Jacqueline, i know very well she was a great and loving person because her own daughter i believe has so many traits of her mother. Wow, I knew you for 19 years Carin.  Many, many fun and funny times.  I want to personally thank you for giving me the best of you and the best thing in my life, your beautiful daughter Claudia.  We have been married for 19 years but I sure wish I had married her much sooner.  For that would have been more time that I would have known you.
